Fucking mind-blowing:
CONGRATS ON BECOMING A NEW DADDY AND A FUCKING MURDERER, JOHANNES MEHSERLE!
It’s been a theme, in recent weeks. M & I getting into deep, philosophical discussions on the national if not global effect of rapidly increasing non-consequence or total lack of repercussions for one’s actions, on macro and micro levels. (HI, BAILOUT. HI, BUSH REGIME.)
Thanks, BART cops, for the perfect micro example. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, a young, unarmed man detained by BART police was forcibly held on the ground at the Fruitvale station ON HIS STOMACH when the above-named officer shot him fatally in the back.
Unbelievable. Inexcusable. Total fucking bullshit.
All the world,
Skinny
He was, what, 24 years old, a father to a young kid, pleading not to get tased and he gets fucking shot in the back while handcuffed. The videos from the Fruitvale platform are sickening. If I have to see the chief of BART police asking for patience while they conduct their investigation one more time, I’m kicking the damn tv in.
Mehserle is from the same town as that 90-y.o. lady who was raped and killed by a “traveling salesman” last month:

I am about ready to see what comes next because this place is a total fucking piece of shit.
Shot?? Murdered??? Victim of police brutality?? When are you folks out there going to drag out a dictionary and figure out what the word “execution” means? Call it what it was, an execution.
If Officer Johannes Mehserle gets off with anything lighter than a Capitol Murder conviction, then you can call it state sponsored terrorism.
Thanks for your comments, guys. KOFY news guy just took the BART rep, Linton Johnson, to task on live coverage.
mehserle wasn’t part of any NWO or political agenda to take away citizens rights. He wasn’t from the same town as the 90-year old lady either. This bart shooting wasn’t race related nor was it an attempt to take away our personal freedom as americans. I feel deep sadness for Grant’s and Mehserle’s family. This was obviously a mistake, a terrible one.
I’ve shot many kinds of handguns and tasers – as an untrained civilian – and I can tell you that even under duress there is no way to confuse the tactile feel, the weight, the unholstering, etc – between weapons that cops carry to discharge bullets and ones they carry to discharge electricity.
Also, as an untrained civilian – considering the situation on the platform and the fact that he had 2 years on the job (plus his experience & training leading up to the point of being an officer) I have NEVER taken a gun out of a holster or picked one up off a surface with my finger on the trigger. There is a very specific way that one holds the weapon so that there is no accidental discharge of the weapon. Almost nothing is reinforced more in handgun training.
This man committed murder.
Deems: I don’t know you, so no disrespect, but how can you say that this was not race related? What I saw on TV: white dude in a uniform with gun, uses gun to shoot a black man on the ground in his back. I am not assuming it is race related but I can’t see how you can rule this out – as well as call it a ‘mistake. a terrible mistake.’
Thanks, knifemouth. You said that way more expertly and eloquently than I possibly could!
